A little bit about us and our animals....
Hi I'm Kelly and I work with my husband Matt
I have always been 'animal mad' and have been handling many types of animals since pretty much birth.
I came from a family of professional falconers and entertainers so displaying animals and giving talks on these amazing creatures is something that I guess has been bred into me!!
Always having a massive love for animals from an early age and although didn't 'quite' follow in my parents footsteps with the falconry displays I knew eventually educating and displaying animals would one day take hold!!
Over the years both matt and I have kept many different birds, and exotics and love to see peoples faces (especially children's) when they get to see an animal up close instead of in a zoo or on the TV. I have qualifications in animal psychology, animal first aid and currently working towards an advanced animal management qualification, although I do believe that experience and passion and the ability to listen and absorb knowledge is the best qualification anyone can hold.
Matts main love (apart from me....I hope?!?!) are the reptiles, he has kept and studied reptiles for many years, (he says the reptiles are his favourite but judging by the amount of times I have caught him having Coati cuddles or hugging the skunks, I may have to wonder?!?!?!)
Our animals welfare is always of upmost importance to us.....truth be told they live better than we do most of the time :) and you will see the love and admiration we have for them when you meet us.
We are fully insured up to 10 million pounds, DBS checked, and hold a Performing Animals License we are also registered with Defra for transporting live animals. Proof of which we will happily provide upon request.
ALL of our animals are fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated and we always provide and insist on use of antibacterial gel after anyone has touched any animal.
hope to meet or talk to you soon
