Frequently asked questions
Are you insured? -
We absolutely are . its a legal requirement to have a 5 million pound policy buy for added security and
due to the work we do on film sets we are insured for 1o million, we also hold a defra transporter licence and a performing animals licence as well as risk assessments
Are you dbs checked?
We are (as is everyone that works with us) and will happily show you this upon request
are the animals wormed, inoculated and de-fleaed?
All of our animals are treated for worms, fleas, and inoculated - they are all regularly vet checked too by a specialist exotic vet
are all of the animals friendly?
all of our animals are wonderful. they have been raised from a young age in different environments to make sure nothing phases them or upsets them, if they did ever get upset they would be quickly removed from display as our animals welfare is always our number 1 priority
do you bring crocodiles or other dangerous animals?
no....none of our animals are DWA (dangerous wild animals) we do not believe they are suitable for this kind of work and find it too upsetting to see animals with their mouths taped closed (as some people do with crocs/alligators/caiman)
whats your lowest age for parties?
Oir lowest age group is 6 years old. younger groups can be less respectful to the animals due to their age and excitement therefore we do not put them in a position they would be unhappy in.
Do you display your animals in dog crates?
NO- we have invested a lot of time and money in making sure our animals temporary environment is as comfortable and fun for them as possible, we also fence our animals off so people cant approach without our supervision (this doesn't take away from the excitement of them being there)
Can we pick the animals we want to come?
The welfare of our animals is paramount and due to them being live animals we cannot guarantee which animals will be available on any particular day. However, you are welcome to make ‘special requests’ and we will do our best to accommodate them. You can tell us at any time before we visit. Every day we make sure all of our animals are fit and happy to come with us.
How long do parties last?
Parties last between 60-90 mins (usually the latter)
what areas do you cover?
For large events we travel across most of the country (the animals must be out of their travel boxes longer than they are in them) for parties/care homes we travel a maximum of 100 miles radius
for schools we travel up to 3 hours
Do you attend weddings and adult functions?
Yes we do, we have attended numerous weddings and parties for adults, we also get invited to lots of hen parties and stag do's....(alcohol must not be present)
Do you attend corporate events?
yes we do and have worked for many prestigious companies across the uk
How much space do I need to provide?
Obviously the bigger the better! You may like to hire a hall or similar venue if there will be lots of guests. However,
we can usually host a brilliant party in the space of a normal living room.
It is preferable to have a separate eating area away from where the animals will be, a table for us to use would be helpful too.
an you accommodate children with special educational needs?
Yes- we operate a ‘Welcome All’ policy on all our services and Our Sensory Sessions are highly recommended for groups of children with special needs. There is a maximum of 20 children at one time. However, we are happy to make our Activity Workshops inclusive to those in mainstream education and endeavour to offer differentiated activities at all times.
